Access Crisis Specialist
Full Time, 3rd Shift
Portage County, OH

 

Coleman Health Services is seeking diligent and responsible individuals to join our customer-centered emergency crisis team of professionals to work with individuals experiencing immediate mental health crises in Portage County, Ohio. This position assists in client engagement and obtaining needed treatment, including emergency intakes, assessments for psychiatric hospitalization and linkage to community services and resources. This is a full-time, third shift position located in Ravenna, Ohio.

Duties include:

  • Answering calls from the crisis hotline
  • Determine needed clinical services, level of urgency, and appropriate providers; consult with personnel and assist with scheduling as needed
  • Provide supportive and/or basic crisis intervention in person and via phone

Qualifications of an Access Crisis Specialist include:

  • BA in related field
  • Clean driving record
  • Have or willing to obtain NPI and Ohio Medicaid numbers
