* Impact: Program identifies and serves children who have serious emotional and behavioral disabilities. A Regional Inter-Agency Council develops, coordinates and administers services and includes representation from parents, courts, schools, the Department for Community-Based Services, and mental health providers.
* School-Based Services: Center staff now have regular hours in 25 different schools, providing direct services to children and families and consultation to teachers. Has greatly increased accessibility of behavioral health services and improved partnership between parents, school systems, and outpatient therapists.
* Greenup Haus: Opened in 1993, Greenup Haus provides 19 supervised efficiency apartments which serve as a permanent home to individuals with a history of serious mental illness. Named winner of Blue Horizon Award honoring healthcare programs for efforts to implement innovative reforms.
